It’s always a scary feeling when you’re about to fall.
When you’re about to fall in love, when you’re about to fall out of a window, and when summer is about to “fall” into Autumn.
Falling is something that, as it turns out, can be just as beneficial as it is potentially life-threatening. Sometimes you have to fall in order to realize your strength in rising again, and often you have to fall in love to realize how wonderful life can be.
I returned from falling into Europe for three weeks, if you will, to Fall in Vancouver; I wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye to summer for good though. I’d imagined a few more scorching YVR beach days when I’d departed my city early August. So I took to Vancouver Fashion Week bare-armed and then realized I was indeed very wrong.
I’m about to fall into Fall, allow the chapter of my summer ’16 to be drawn up for good, and know in my heart that I fell – totally and completely – over that beautiful season that makes us all feel so alive.
Happy #FirstDayofFall to all!
